Rex works alongside his parent’s managing projects and the day-to-day task to see the project’s completion through, from start to finish. Rex brings an extensive knowledge of building science to Cousin Construction, Inc. through product research and staying up to date on new and innovative building techniques. The design of the homes and how they are built is one of Rex’s strong qualities in Cousin Construction, Inc.
Born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Rex grew up in the construction industry following his parents around in their day-to-day tasks with Cousin Construction, Inc. All 4 years of high school, Rex put on the tool belt every summer working alongside the crew learning all that goes into a house. With a deep passion in the construction industry Rex then chose to go to South Dakota State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture where he was a part of the very first graduating class of Architecture in the school’s history. Rex always wanted to come back to Cousin Construction, Inc. and work alongside his parents building high end custom homes. In 2016 he had the opportunity to come back home and start building clients dream homes.
