|Wanted to take the opportunity to share a few things about Cousin Construction.|
My wife and I were introduced to Ron and Kristi Lyon as early as 2001 or 2002. We watched them build several quality homes and took the opportunity to visit with them during several parades of homes as they shared their work with the public. As a result of these meetings, we were encouraged to visit with some of their customers and we did. With each conversation, one thing remained consistent, Ron and Kristi are honest, easy to work with and actually perform as they have committed. After two or three years we made the decision to build our own dream home and the first critical decision we made was choosing Cousin Construction as our contractor.
Ron and Kristi led us through the design phase, on to construction and all the way to the day we turned the key to the front door and moved in. We spent a lot of time with them and their team of professional tradesman and sub-contractors. We were assigned a project foreman, Steve, who truly was an artist with his craft. He took personal interest in our vision and helped bring to life what today we call home.
In the year it took to complete our project, I can recall two or three phone calls informing me of a concern and the need for us to get together to discuss an issue. In each case, between the time I left my office and arrived on site, it was resolved by Ron, Steve and whoever else needed to be involved. What they were seeing as a concern, they resolved quickly, professionally and to everyone's satisfaction. Cousin Construction, from Ron and Kristi to their newest team member, are top notch, professional people with an ever constant eye on quality. And quality they deliver.
Our home was damaged by hail in June of 2011 resulting in broken windows, damaged siding and a destroyed roof. In the heat of the moment, I called Ron for advice and shortly thereafter he arrived on scene prepared to secure the home and begin the repair process. In short order our home was restored to like new condition and we couldn't have been happier with Ron's quick, caring and professional response.
Adding to Cousin Construction's repertoire of expertise, in November 2011 I called Ron to find out if he was interested in helping remodel an existing, but tattered commercial building in which to move my offices. Once again, I experienced the same top notch and organized service I had come to expect. In about 45 days he and his team, led by project foreman Kirk, went about the demolition, reconstruction and completion of 2700 sf of commercial office space that now serves as home to my insurance and financial services office.
Without hesitation we would enthusiastically recommend and encourage anyone looking for an honest, trustworthy and top notch general contractor to consider Ron and Kristi Lyon and their company Cousin Construction.
